Päävalmentamo: PM-kisojen ottelun yleisohje ja kisakutsu

Pohjoismaiden mestaruuskisoissa otellaan periaatteessa WTF:n sääntöjen mukaan. Sen lisäksi ns. Nordic Forum, eli Pohjoismaiden lajiliittojen yhteisö on sopinut kyseisen kisan osalta erilaisia poikkeuksia ja lisäyksiä kansainväliseen sääntökirjaan. Alla on kaikille asiasta kiinnostuneille tiedoksi viimeisin PM-turnauksen yleisohje, ja sen perässä vuoden 2015 kilpailukutsu ottelun osalta. Kummastakin on jätetty selkeyden vuoksi pois maksuihin, majoituksiin tai vastaaviin käytännön järjestelyihin liittyvät osiot.

NORDIC CHAMPIONSHIPS RULES
Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden

Purpose of rules
- Rules for the Nordic Championships agreed on at the Nordic Forum Meetings
- To bee send out with the invitation from the hosting nation of the year
- As an amendment to the WTF rules of competition in kirurgi and poomsae.

Nations to participate in the Nordic Championships
- Denmark – Danish Taekwondo Federation
- Finland – Finish Taekwondo Federation
- Iceland – Iceland Taekwondo Federation
- Norway – Norwegian Martial Arts Federation – Taekwondo WTF
- Sweden – Swedish Taekwondo Federation

::: GENERAL RULES :::

Rules of management and organisation

- The rotation of hosting nation is Iceland (2014), Norway (2015), Denmark (2016), Sweden (2017), Finland (2018) and then again Iceland (2019)
- The Nordic Championship is to be hosted on the 3rd weekend of January each year
- Date and plays of the Nordic Championship is to be announced one (1) year in advanced.
- Deadline for entries should be in the middle of December.
- The invitation is to bee send out no later then August the year before.

Referees
- The hosting nation is obligated to provide one WTF international referee in charge of the referee team of kirurgi and poomsae.
- Each nation is obligated to send 5 kirurgi and 3 poomsae referees of IR or good national level to the Nordic Championship.
- The hosting nation may have more referees to add up the numbers and ensure a smoothly run tournament.
- All referees are required to be present at the referee meeting one day prior the event.
- The list of referees participating is to be sent the hosting nation at the same time as the entry of teams.

Officials
- Each nation can send 1 coach per 5 competitors in kirurgi
- Presidents and secretary general are regarded as VIP’s.

Head of team meeting, referee meeting and drawing of loots
- A meeting between heads of team (max 2 per national team) and all referees shall be held one day prior to the Championship.
- These rules are to be announced at the meeting and the referee in charge will liberate on any new interpretation from the WTF rules.
- At the kirurgi meeting there will be the drawing of lots will be done and announced accordingly.

Liability
- All participants in the Championship take part at their own risk.
- The hosting nations federation/organizer committee can not under any circumstances be held responsible for any damage or loss of equipments, injury or death of participants.
- The national teams are responsible for insurances for their participants.

Doping
- The hosting nation may arrange doping test at the Championship.
- The doping tests are to be organized by the hosting nation official anti-doping organization.
- Positive results form any test are to be send form the hosting nation anti- doping organization to the national anti-doping organization of the country which the participant is from.
- Any expenses regarding the organization and analyzing of doping test are to be born by the hosting nation.

Awards
- There will be medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
- There will be a trophy for the nations that score most points according to the following scoring system:
   : 7 points for gold medal
   : 5 points for silver medal
   : 1 point for bronze medal
- The hosting nation may award trophies for the best fighter and the best poomsae.

Participants/contestants
- Must have a passport of the nation they represent. Only passport will be accepted at registration/weight inn.
- Be recommended by their national federation
- Holder of 4th kup or higher

::: KIRURGI COMPETITITON RULES :::

Rules
- WTF competition rules of single knock-out system,
- In Norway only seniors of the age between 18 and 35 are allowed to have full knock-out to the head. Cadets and juniors are only allowed knock-out to the west and only semi/light contact to the head.

Age divisions
- Cadet – min 12 years, max 14 years (min 13 year in Norway)
- Junior – min 14 years, max 17 years
- Senior – min 18 years (max 34 in Norway)

The age limits for the each division is based on the year, not on the date, when the Championships are held. For example, in Junior division, contestants shall be between 15 and 17 years old. In this regard, if the Junior Poomsae Championships are held on 29 July 2015, contestants born between 1 January 1998 and 31 December 2000 are eligible to participate. 


Each country may participate with four athletes in each category.

Weight divisions

WTF 10 divisions for cadet
Male: -33, -37, -41, -45, -49, -53, -57, -61, -65 and +65 kg
Female: -29, -33, -37, -41, -44, -47, -51, -55, -59 and +59  kg

WTF 10 divisions for junior
Male: -45, -48, -51, -55, -59, -63, -68, -73, -78 and + 78 kg
Female: -42, -44, -46, -49, -52, -55, -59, -63, -68 and +68 kg

WTF 8 divisions for senior
Male: -54, -58, -63, -68, -74, -80, -87 and +87 kg
Female: -46, -49, -53, -57, -62, -67, -73 and +73 kg

- Each national federation may send 2 competitor pr weight deviations.

Protection equipment, west and helmet
- The protection equipment, west and helmet have to be of WTF/ETU standard.
- National federation official sponsored equipment is approved.
- If not given in the invitation all participant/national teams have to bring all their personal equipment and also west and helmets for all the participants.

Tournament system, scoring system
- Electronic tournament system is allowed to bee used by the hosting nation.
- Drawing of lots and organization of tournament may also be done trough the electronically tournament system of the hosting nation.
- Electronic scoring system for kirurgi is mandatory.

Qualifications:
Holder of the grade of 4th geup or higher.
Holder of nationality of the participating country.

Recommended by the National Association of the participating country.

Kyorugi

- Veterans: 3 x 1,5 minutes
- Seniors: 3 x 2 minutes
- Juniors: 3 x 2 minutes
- Cadets: 2 x 1,5 minutes

Competition system is single elimination tournament system.

Note that competitions are held on courts with Daedo electronic body protectors.  The competition organization does not provide Daedo sensor socks.  Video replay is not in use.

Officials
Each country is allowed to send 5 Kyorugi officials (1 Head of Team, 1 Manager and up to 3 coaches). Each country is allowed to send 5 Poomsae officials (1 Head of Team, 1 Manager and up to 3 coaches).

The names of the officials must be announced at January 5th 2015 at the latest to the Norwegian Martial Arts Federation.

More information about the head of team meeting, registration and weigh-in will be distributed closer to the championships.
